Samantha Brown joined CHP in 2006 as a Development Officer and is now the Vice President of Real Estate Development. In her current role, she works to acquire, finance, and renovate or build new multifamily housing and manages staff responsibilities within CHP’s Real Estate Development department. Since beginning work at CHP, Samantha has developed over 2,000 units of affordable housing. Before coming to CHP, Samantha worked in local government planning in Virginia and North Carolina. She has a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of Maryland College Park and a Certificate in Affordable Housing from NeighborWorks America.
