Cara Mullen joined the CHP Real Estate Development team in 2021. In her role as Multifamily Development Officer, she is responsible for the day-to-day development activities that result in the completion of new affordable multifamily housing projects and the preservation of existing ones. Before starting with CHP, Cara spent five years working in the housing industry for a non-profit in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The company owned, operated, and managed various LIHTC, HUD 202, PRA 811, RAD, and market rate units within their footprint. It also developed new affordable housing units. Cara has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in physical therapy from Misericordia University, Dallas, Pennsylvania.
