In his role as Senior Development Officer, Joe Schwenker coordinates and is responsible for the successful completion of affordable housing development projects.  He began his career in affordable housing in 1994 and has developed over 25 tax credit projects in multiple states. Joe is familiar with complex capital stacks using funds such as TIF, AHP, brownfield credits, workforce credits, historic tax credits, Section 8, Section 515, and discounted land price. Joe holds a BS from UW-Madison and an MS in Urban Planning from UW-Milwaukee. He currently serves on the board of Midwest Housing Collaborative (Board President), CommonBond Communities, and Vision Forward. He has published articles in Midwest Real Estate News, Commercial Investment Journal and the ULI magazine.
