Nona Hipp, Senior Regional Manager for CHP Property Management, oversees operations and collaborates with various departments to ensure property performance, profitability, and sustainability for 14 CHP properties in Virginia’s Tidewater region. Nona joined CHP in 2001 and held positions as Assistant Vice President of Property Management and Vice President of Property Management before returning to her current role as Regional Manager. She had property management experience prior to joining to CHP. Starting in 1983, she managed a Section 8 senior community in Orangeburg, South Carolina, for 13 years before moving to Columbia, South Carolina, as a Regional Manager. Nona then moved to Virginia Beach in 2000 to work for the same South Carolina-based company. In addition to Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) continuing education, Nona has participated in National Affordable Housing Professional (NAHP) Executive-Level certification and Fair Housing certification. She was also on the Board of Directors of the Mid-Atlantic Affordable Housing Management Association from 2007 to 2009.
