Freddy Paige joined CHP’s board in January 2020. He is an assistant professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech and assistant director of the Virginia Center for Housing Research. Freddy’s areas of expertise include sustainable infrastructure and housing, environmental justice, and engineering education. He completed his Ph.D. in civil engineering at Clemson University, where he also received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees in the same subject. Freddy serves on the board’s Real Estate Development committee.

Although CHP’s footprint has greatly expanded over the decades, our mission continues to focus on creating homes and communities that are healthy, sustainable, and affordable.
