As primary legal counsel for CHP, Eric oversees legal matters, and advises CHP operations functions in these departments: Human Capital, Development, Resident Services, Property Management, and Energy Solutions. Prior to joining CHP, Eric was a partner at a boutique law firm where he provided outside general counsel services to regional, national, and international industries. Eric earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Government, cum laude with department honors, and his Masters Degree in English, from George Mason University. Eric received his Juris Doctor from Washington & Lee University School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. Eric serves on the Board of Directors for the Community Foundation of the New River Valley, the New River Valley Chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management, and the Executive Council for the Ted Dalton American Inn of Court.
