Warm Wishes logoAs the holiday season approaches, Community Housing Partners (CHP) is once again inviting community members to help bring warmth, joy, and connection to senior residents and adults with special needs living in CHP communities across Virginia and Maryland. Through its annual Warm Wishes program, CHP provides thoughtful gifts and essential items to residents while reminding them that they are valued and cared for.

Led by CHP’s Resident Services team, Warm Wishes brings together donors, volunteers, and community partners to make the holidays a little brighter for residents. This year, CHP hopes to raise $4,300 to help provide gifts and fulfill residents’ holiday wishes.

Community members can support the campaign by making a monetary donation through the Warm Wishes fundraising webpage. Contributions help CHP purchase gifts for residents and ensure more people can participate in the program. Beginning Nov. 10, community members can also adopt a resident’s wish and shop for a gift through CHP’s online sign-up page.

“Warm Wishes has become such a special tradition for our residents and staff,” said Stacy Taylor, Resident Services Program Developer. “Each year, we see how even the smallest acts of kindness can make someone feel remembered and valued.”

Last year, Warm Wishes reached 828 residents across 31 CHP communities. Through direct sponsorships and monetary donations, the program provided gifts and created opportunities for residents to connect with neighbors and celebrate together. The efforts of staff, volunteers, and community partners helped make the season more meaningful for residents throughout Virginia and Maryland.

CHP invites individuals, businesses, and organizations to join this year’s campaign and help make the holidays special for residents. Whether through a financial contribution, adopting a resident’s wish, or volunteering to help with the program, every act of generosity helps strengthen the sense of community that makes Warm Wishes possible.
