Please introduce yourself and share a bit about your background in property management.

My name is Amanda Hunt. I’ve been working in property management for four years.

How long have you been managing this property?

I started at Maplewood Apartments as the Assistant Property Manager in 2021 and was promoted to Property Manager in 2024.

What makes this property unique or distinctive within the community?

We are currently the largest multi-family property in Martinsville, Virginia.

What’s the most unique feature of this property that residents love? 

Residents love having onsite laundry and on-site Resident Services.

Can you share any success stories or positive feedback from residents?

Our Resident Services Coordinator hosted a Getting Ahead Program and through that one of our residents was able to become a partner of Martinsville Henry County Healthy Heart Initiative and is now volunteering her time to help the community, because she had the opportunity to network with different partners that participated in the Getting Ahead Program.

The residents of this community really look out for each other; they are like a tight knit family.
