I’m Latounzia Buchanan, and I have been working in property management for over 25 years. My background includes managing affordable housing and conventional communities and building strong relationships with residents and staff. What I enjoy most is creating welcoming environments where residents feel at home.

I have been managing Kensington Village for 9 months, and during this time I’ve gotten to know both the residents and the community well.

Kensington Village stands out because of its strong sense of community, convenient location near schools/shopping and amenities. The residents here really look out for one another, which creates a neighborly, family-like atmosphere.

What’s the most unique feature of this property that residents love?
Residents really appreciate the greenery, playground, Fitness Center, and quiet surroundings. It gives them a place to gather, relax, and build connections with their neighbors.
Can you share any success stories or positive feedback from residents?
One of the most rewarding things I’ve heard from residents is how they feel safe and supported here. Several have shared that they love the responsiveness of our maintenance team and the way management really listens to their concerns.
Can you share a life hack or a clever solution you’ve discovered for common resident needs?
One helpful solution we’ve used is encouraging residents to use our online portal. It helps keep communication smooth and makes life easier for everyone.
What is something you like or appreciate about the community?
I really appreciate the sense of togetherness here. Residents are always willing to help one another, and there’s a genuine pride in the community that you can feel when you walk through the property.
