Improvements include the installation of all-new windows, exterior doors, kitchen and bath cabinets, tub/shower units, toilets, ranges, range hoods, refrigerators, water heaters, and marmoleum flooring, as well as the installation of new roofs, gutters, and downspouts. Other improvements include the repair of breezeway stairs, fresh interior painting, and resurfacing of the parking lot.

In addition to the features mentioned above, Parkview Gardens has improved energy efficiency with better insulation, high-efficiency heating and cooling equipment, and Energy Star light fixtures and appliances.
