Jessica Braden became CHP’s Director of Asset Management in October of 2022. Jessica leads the Asset Management team in ensuring long-term viability of CHP owned and operated properties. She works closely with Property Management, Resident Services, Compliance, Finance, and Energy Solutions to identify, prioritize, and implement strategic objectives. Before coming to CHP, Jessica served as a Virginia Housing Senior Asset Manager, from 2013 – 2022, with a portfolio of more than 100 properties. From 2009 – 2013, Jessica worked in CHP Property Management, as a site manager, district manager, and a regional manager.

Jessica attended Virginia Tech where she received a Bachelor of Science with a double major in Property Management and Residential Environments and Design. She later returned to Virginia Tech and received a Master of Business Administration. Jessica is an active member of the Virginia Tech Property Management Advisory Board and regularly guest lectures in that major’s Affordable and Specialized Housing course. Jessica lives in Roanoke, Va., with her husband (who is also a Tech graduate) and their two young daughters.
