Jeffrey Reed, President and Chief Executive Officer, has been with CHP for 20 years and has 30 years of experience in financial and corporate management. As President and CEO, he oversees all operations of the company. He also is responsible for business planning and organizational development, external relationship development, policy, and risk management.

Jeffrey became President and CEO in January of 2023 after five years as President. Prior to becoming President in 2017, Jeffrey served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he had oversight of accounting, asset management, multi-family development, construction, architecture and financial management for CHP, which controls over $500 million in assets with annual revenues of over $81 million. As CFO at CHP, he was responsible for corporate financing, cash flow projections, cash management, profitability analysis and budget oversight for over 150 legal entities.

Jeffrey’s duties also included financial compliance, risk management and acquisition/project feasibility analysis. He currently serves on the boards of NeighborWorks Capital as the Finance and Audit Committee’s chair, Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF) as the Finance and Audit Committee’s chair and the Generations Captive Group. Jeffrey holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Radford University and is a Certified Housing Asset Manager (CHAM).
