Dakota Harmon is a building science trainer and project manager for CHP Energy Solutions. He is a graduate of Emory & Henry College where he earned his teaching degree in history while also playing outside linebacker and defensive end for the Wasps . After college , Dakota spent 4 years teaching and coaching in the Virginia public school system. Recently, he has decided to step away from public school teaching and dive head first into the weatherization field. Dakota is a BPI certified Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector. In his free time, Dakota enjoys hiking , surfing, and training in mixed martial arts.

Although CHP’s footprint has greatly expanded over the decades, our mission continues to focus on creating homes and communities that are healthy, sustainable, and affordable.
