Community Housing Partners (CHP) is proud to announce that its Human Capital team has been recognized as one of the Best HR Teams in America by Employee Benefit News. This inaugural list recognizes 39 exceptional HR teams across the nation, and CHP is honored to be among those selected.
The recognition came from CHP’s participation in the 2024 Best Places to Work survey, where employees expressed their appreciation for the Human Capital team’s efforts in fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment. The survey captured the sentiments of employees from across the organization, emphasizing the vital role the Human Capital team plays in building a thriving workplace culture.
CHP’s Human Capital team oversees key areas of employee support, including human resources, learning and development, recruiting, payroll, and safety. These essential functions ensure that CHP’s employees have the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed while also promoting a strong organizational culture.
“This recognition is a reflection of the hard work our team puts in every day to create a workplace where employees feel valued and empowered,” said Laura Croft, Vice President of Human Capital at CHP. “We are committed to ensuring that CHP remains a place where our people can grow, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to our mission.”
CHP has been recognized multiple times for its exceptional workplace culture. In addition to the Employee Benefit News award, CHP earned a spot on the 2024 Best Places to Work in Virginia list, ranking 19th among large employers with more than 250 employees. This marks the third time CHP has earned this honor, further solidifying its reputation as a top employer in the region.
This latest recognition celebrates the Human Capital team’s ongoing commitment to making CHP a great place to work while aligning with CHP’s core mission to provide affordable, sustainable housing solutions across the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
