In recognition of their skills and dedication to energy efficiency, three employees from CHP Energy Solutions have been appointed to serve on boards in the energy sector. Phil Hull, Training Center Director, has been named to the board of the Building Performance Institute (BPI), while Meghan McMillen, Director of Weatherization Programs and Services, has been appointed to the board of the Virginia Energy Efficiency Council (VAEEC), and Jason Fisher, Training Center Manager, has been appointed to the board of the Association of Energy Conservation Professionals (AECP).

Hull, who leads the Training Center at CHP Energy Solutions, brings a wealth of knowledge to the Building Performance Institute’s board. BPI is a national group that sets standards for home energy efficiency and weatherization work. Its goal is to promote excellence in the building performance industry through the development of standards, professional certification, and company accreditation.

Hull’s role at CHP Energy Solutions involves directing training programs that prepare professionals to implement energy-efficient measures in homes. His appointment to the BPI board highlights his expertise and dedication to improving building standards.

Meghan McMillen

As the Director of Weatherization Programs and Services for CHP Energy Solutions, McMillen has been fundamental in managing and delivering services that improve the energy efficiency of homes, especially for low-income families. McMillen’s extensive experience in weatherization and her role in CHP Energy Solutions’ many successful projects will bring valuable insights to the Virginia Energy Efficiency Council.

The VAEEC promotes energy efficiency policies and practices in Virginia. The council works with various stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits, to advance energy efficiency as the best and most sustainable way to meet the state’s energy needs.

Fisher, the Training Center Manager, was recently appointed to the AECP board, adding another layer of expertise from CHP Energy Solutions. AECP focuses on promoting energy conservation practices and educating professionals about energy-saving techniques. Fisher’s role at CHP and his experience in energy conservation will enhance AECP’s efforts in promoting energy conservation and advancing education in the field.
