Community Housing Partners (CHP), which provides affordable and sustainable housing throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, is proud to share that its Energy Solutions division was recently highlighted in a case study published by GoFormz, a leading provider of digital forms and workflow automation. The feature showcases how CHP has used GoFormz to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across more than 20 weatherization and energy efficiency programs.

The case study details how CHP transitioned from manual, paper-based documentation to streamlined digital forms tailored to each program’s unique requirements. With GoFormz, CHP has reduced reporting errors, eliminated redundant data entry, and standardized forms across its network of subcontractors and staff.

One of the most significant outcomes has been time savings. By digitizing workflows and automating data collection, CHP Energy Solutions saves more than 350 project manager hours annually—time that can be reinvested in serving families across Virginia. The platform has also helped simplify complex processes like rebate calculations and compliance reporting, ensuring more consistent and audit-ready submissions.

“GoFormz is incredibly effective. It gives agencies the ability to capture the right data, follow program-specific requirements, and streamline fieldwork—all within the same tool,” said Mark Jackson, Vice President of CHP Energy Solutions, in the case study.

The partnership has been especially valuable as CHP continues to expand its programs and service territory. By using GoFormz to digitize key forms such as the National Quality Assurance Form and state-mandated Multifamily Audit Form, CHP ensures that documentation meets funder requirements the first time, reducing delays and helping families receive critical energy efficiency upgrades faster.

Looking ahead, CHP Energy Solutions plans to broaden its use of GoFormz into additional areas such as maintenance inspections and heat pump evaluations. The team also hopes to share lessons learned with other weatherization agencies.
