Laura began her professional career in the banking industry in 1996 and joined Community Housing Partners in 2013. Laura began working in the HR field of professional development in 2004 and has developed and trained many programs since then. Laura has been in several roles including, Manager of Professional Development, Senior Manager of Leadership Development, and Director of Learning and Development. Laura was named Director of Human Capital at Community Housing Partners in 2017. Most recently Laura was named Vice President of Human Capital.

In her current role, Laura oversees Human Capital, Learning and Development and Corporate Safety. She is certified to teach several training programs and holds a Senior Professional Certification from Society of Human Resource Management. Laura received her BS in Organizational Communications from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, and her MBA from Virginia Tech. Laura has been married to her husband John for twenty-two years.
