Course Description
The one-hour course focuses on preferred “green” methods of pest control, such as developing an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Plan that works to control the sources of pest infestation and prevent the need for extermination techniques. It also discusses the important role which occupants play in this method, how the maintenance staff interacts with the building, and the cost effectiveness of this practice. Additionally it covers both the impact of IPM on healthcare costs and the environment. The course counts toward continuing education needed to maintain the Credential for Green Property Management.
