CHP Becomes One of SAHF's Newest Members
CHP is pleased to announce that it has become a new member of Stewards of Affordable Housing for the Future (SAHF). SAHF is a nonprofit collaborative of exemplary multi-state nonprofit affordable housing providers who own more than 115,000 affordable rental homes collectively. SAHF's mission is to lead policy innovation and advance excellence in the delivery of affordable rental homes that expand opportunity and promote dignity for residents.
According to SAHF, CHP will play a key role in helping shape SAHF’s ongoing work of leading policy innovation and championing the delivery of safe, quality, rental homes that are affordable for low-income individuals, families and persons in need.
CHP will also help SAHF continue to leverage the scale and reach of SAHF members, and demonstrate the positive impact that quality, safe affordable rental homes have on their residents, said Eileen Fitzgerald, SAHF’s CEO and President.
"Community Housing Partners has more than 40 years of affordable housing development, preservation and management experience, and we are truly honored to have the organization join the SAHF network," remarked Fitzgerald. She continued, "SAHF members represent the top non-profit affordable housing developers in the nation. Expanding SAHF’s membership to include CHP was an obvious next step to enhance our collective impact. We look forward to leveraging CHP's on-the-ground experience, depth of knowledge and innovative leadership."
Jeff Reed, CFO and Executive Vice President at CHP stated, "At Community Housing Partners, collaboration and innovation are essential parts of our core values. With that in mind, SAHF provides the ideal platform for CHP to knowledge-share, expand partnership opportunities and join forces with exemplary organizations."
