Newly Built Homes Offer More Custom Features, Less Maintenance

Hamlet Finished

CHP Homeownership is building attractive new homes in the New River Valley area of Virginia and in the Citrus Springs community of Florida. According to CHP Homeownership Building Services Specialist Michael George, choosing to buy a home that is still under construction can offer many benefits not available from an older home.

“A home that is still being built offers you the ability to customize the paint, flooring, cabinets, countertops, and even the floorplan,” said George. “New homes also offer better energy efficiency with advanced technology and design."

The new homes, which are developed by CHP and designed and constructed by quality third-party professionals, are built from cutting-edge building products that deliver lower home maintenance – allowing the homeowner more time to enjoy their home without the frustration of costly home repairs. Another great cost saving feature of CHP's homes are the energy efficient new appliances that are provided. Finally, the warranties that are offered with new homes give the homeowners piece of mind.

The homes that CHP Homeownership are offering are modern, energy efficient, and unique. Floorplans range from single to two-story, open to traditional, and everything in between. The price range on these homes is dependent on size and customization.

The first Florida home was completed in April, with a second home scheduled for completion in September. In Virginia, the first home is set to be completed by the end of the summer.

CHP Homeownership offers homeownership counseling, homebuyer education, lending and mortgage advising, and access to special loan products that help more people realize the dream of homeownership.
