CHP's Energy Services Receives Recognition from Local Community Action Agency for Weatherization Work

Williamsburg, Va. – In celebration of 39 years of service, the Williamsburg-James City County Community Action Agency (W-JCC Community Action Agency) honored individuals and organizations that have strengthened and enhanced the agency by contributing time, energy and resources. Community Housing Partners (CHP) received one of 14 awards given at the organization’s banquet April 26.

W-JCC Community Action Agency Executive Director Reba Bolden awarded CHP VP of Energy Services Bill Beachy with a Community of Stars award for Outstanding Service Provider.

“Your support of our weatherization program has made it possible for the agency to increase the number of dwellings served,” Bolen said. “Your willingness to partner and provide a much needed service benefited the community by allowing low-income residents to live in safer and better quality housing. We applaud all that you have done for the families in the Greater Williamsburg community and this agency.”
