Designed by CHP Design Studio for the Wytheville Redevelopment and Housing Authority, Jefferson Union is a 24-unit apartment community in Wytheville, Virginia. This development provides rental housing for low- to moderate-income individuals, senior citizens or families with a disabled family member earning 60 percent of the Area Median Income or below.  All of the units meet a high level of accessibility for residents who have mobility limitations.

Completed in 2012, the community was designed and built to meet EARTHCRAFT standards and features many sustainable elements such as hybrid water heaters, low-VOC paints and finishes, bamboo flooring, ENERGY STAR windows, and fiber cement board siding.
