Amory Fischer, Utility Programs Program Manager, joined CHP in spring 2018. He is responsible for the development and implementation of utility-funded programs that improve the safety and energy efficiency of income-qualifying, disabled, and elderly Virginia residents. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Tech and has several Building Performance Institute certifications, including Building Analyst and Retrofit Installer Technician. Prior to his work in weatherization, he worked for several years in the solar industry, where he developed and managed over three megawatts of commercial-scale installations for public entities and nonprofit organizations. He is passionate about building an economically and environmentally sustainable world for all.

Although CHP’s footprint has greatly expanded over the decades, our mission continues to focus on creating homes and communities that are healthy, sustainable, and affordable.
