Community Housing Partners Receives $13,500 Expendable Grant Award from Wachovia Foundation

Christiansburg, Va. – Community Housing Partners (CHP) announced today that it received a $13,500 grant from Wachovia Foundation to increase its efforts in the community to promote long-term, stable homeownership through quality homebuyer education and counseling.

The grant is part of a $200,000 contribution that Wachovia Foundation made to NeighborWorks® America on behalf of 16 organizations that are a part of NeighborWorks® network. The NeighborWorks® network consists of more than 230 non-profit housing and community development organizations around the U.S.
