Homes for Sale Through Federal Funding Program
Christiansburg, Va. - Community Housing Partners (CHP) is seeking qualified, income-eligible buyers! We are partnering with People Incorporated of Virginia and the Northern Shenandoah Valley Regional Commission to promote affordable housing opportunities for low-, moderate-, and middle-income homebuyers in the northern Shenandoah Valley-region through the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP).
The program provides funding for the partnership to acquire foreclosed or abandoned properties, rehabilitate them, and make them available for sale to qualified homebuyers. Currently, there are five properties available for sale in Front Royal and Stephens City.
An open house is scheduled for Sunday, April 1 from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm at the following locations:
127 Hill Street, Front Royal
5132 Comer Drive, Stephens City
113 Caspian Drive, Stephens City
Homebuyers must earn less than 120% of the Area Median Income (AMI), adjusted for household size, and may be eligible for additional subsidies if incomes are below 80% or 50% of the AMI. Homebuyers must be able to qualify for primary mortgage and participate in a free homebuyer education program provided by CHP.
Anyone interested in learning more about the program or how to qualify should contact Skip Slocum at firstname.lastname@example.org or 540.382.2002, ext. 3313.
