Christiansburg, VA – More than 10% of Virginians currently live below the poverty level, but thanks to the AmeriCorps VISTA program, Community Housing Partners (CHP), a local nonprofit community development corporation, will employ 8 individuals this summer to help families and individuals in disadvantaged circumstances across Virginia gain self sufficiency and economic stability.
