eddie howard's story

Growing up in Blue Ridge Commons, a CHP multi-family property in Charlottesville, Virginia, Eddie Howard experienced firsthand the postive impact resident services can have on a child. After moving into his family's first home just a block away from the property, Eddie began volunteering with one of CHP's partner that provides resident services to Blue Ridge Commons. Today, both he and his wife work full-time providing youth programs, giving back to the community that raised them.

The Employee Recognition Program offers the opportunity to reward excellent performance by CHP employees. Awards are made once a year. The main criterion for nomination and selection is service – service to our clients, service to work colleagues, service to the communities in which work, and service to the company. The nomination may cite sustained excellent performance throughout the nomination period or may be based upon one or more specific achievements.
