jen nieves' story
During her morning drive to work one day, Jen Nieves heard a commercial on the radio advertising CHP homebuyer education classes. At the time, Jen was a prospective home buyer but had some difficulty finding reliable information about the home buying process. She found out about HomeWorks of Virginia, and began attending homebuyer education classes. On March 15, 2005, Jen closed on her first home. As a home-renovation business owner, Jen constantly worked with home owners. Now, she too owned her own home.

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is able to provide services and programs through federal, state and local grants, as well as through organizations and individuals who support our mission by donating time, monetary or product donations. We thank all of our supporters for continuing to help us achive our mission of strengthening communities and creating opportunities for the people we serve. Here are a few of CHP's programs that can benefit from your help:
emergency home repair
Consistent with our history, CHP alleviates hazardous living conditions for low-income families who live in sub-standard housing and have no ability to remedy these dangerous conditions.
