It's not easy buying a first home. For many the process is a mystery and the details of homeownership are unknowns. At CHP, it is our goal to educate clients and help them become more knowledgeable and feel more at ease during the home buying process. In order to help people with low to moderate income move into homeownership, we offer extensive counseling services:

Realizing the dream of homeownership is a source of pride and accomplishment. Unfortunately credit and personal finances can
sometimes become obstacles in the road to homeownership.
CHP provides free homeownership consultation/counseling
services for all first time homebuyers. During each consultation or counseling session a certified counselor will analyze the client’s:

With the assistance of a counselor a detailed action plan is designed addressing any credit problems and budgeting issues. This plan serves as a blue print for the client to follow in order to achieve the “mortgage ready” status.

CHP offers FREE credit counseling. During these sessions, you can learn how to correct credit issues and how good credit can save hundreds of dollars.
